Dogg Academy #1 - Mount Hawk!

So, the first Dogg Academy in the past 2 years finally kicked off at Mount Hawke Skatepark on the 28th of May.

The Winners

What a great event it was, talent laced all of the heats all the way from the little’uns to the big’uns. The four sets of riders showed great skill but standing out from the pack was Ruan Meloy, Seth Elcocks, Joseph Taylor and Tom North, taking home the W and walking away with a bunch of Dogg gear.

However, there could only be one rider chosen to join the Dogg Academy team… Harry Winter showed consistency and style as well as having a trick difficulty level that just shone out to the judges. Congratulations Harry and welcome to the team!

Best Trick

Best trick went down on the boxes out the back. All riders threw down for 15 minutes and crazy tricks were stomped, Harry came out with a buttercup to buttercup straight over the box which was just insane. Unfortunately the homie Liam Whiteman couldn’t quite get the double backflip but shout out to him anyway because sending that was insane!

All in all, the event was a great success, we saw some brilliant stunts and welcomed an amazing new rider to our team who is going to go far and beyond in this sport.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came and took part in the event and a massive thank you to Mount Hawke skatepark for hosting the event!
